The Mail Manager provides complete control over each Event or Mailing List: linking more contacts, opening the contact view for entry of override address or salutation, creating the mail tasks, recording user-defined Response Codes and optional Response Texts (or seeing what was automatically updated from a landing page), and viewing the history of mail tasks.
Types of mail tasks include: export of contact information for printing of mailing labels, creation of email messages with all formatting, graphics, clickable hotspots, etc., and upload of contact information to third party webmail service provider websites such as Constant Contact®, Emma®, and ActOn® if applicable. Feedback information from these websites is periodically downloaded into IntelliPad tables.
The area at bottom of the page shows the completed mail tasks by type, with one click access to details about each task, and the ability to copy tasks from any other Event or Mailing List.

The IntelliPad CRM has a Marketing feature named “Mail Manager,” which provides complete centralized control over all aspects of mailing for any selected mailing list or future event. This includes: Viewing the list of linked contacts from all attorneys, linking or unlinking specific contacts, creating and sending an email message, exporting a file of contact information for printing of mailing labels, exporting a file of contact information for upload to a third party webmail service provider, input or review of contact RSVP responses (events only), viewing of the mail task history, and creation of follow-up mailings. The email message editor enables creation of sophisticated messages that can include images, graphics, contact and event information field values, and clickable links to a firm webpage so contacts can RSVP to an event, or manage their subscriptions to firm publications. An optional feature is the “Automatic Reply Email,” which uses a designated RSVP response, i.e. “Yes”, to trigger an automatic confirmation email to be sent to the contact. The format for this email can be different for each event; it can contain a clickable link to a Zoom or other online conference, and an optional ICS attachment for easy addition to the recipient’s calendar.
IntelliPad offers optional direct interfaces with the Constant Contact®, ActOn®, or Emma® webmail service providers. If one is purchased, the Mail Manager includes creation of specific mail tasks with upload of contact information directly to the service provider’s website. The email message is created on that website, and the emails are sent from it. Feedback from the webmail service, e.g. emails Sent, Opened, Bounced, is automatically downloaded to IntelliPad tables on a periodic basis.
