Track email campaign results for Constant Contact* from within IntelliPad

IntelliPad includes a program that keeps track of campaign results from Constant Contact and other integrated mailing service providers. For each campaign, there is a window available in the Mail Manager – showing all aspects of status, including the statistics of emails Sent, Bounces, Opt Outs, Opens, and Forwards.
This status window provides one-click opening of the list of contacts in the Sent, Bounces, Opt Outs, Opens, and Forwards categories. Contact detail windows (which are not shown) are available for an authorized user to edit the person record or the person-event link record to manage opt out requests.
IntelliPad writes these campaign details to local tables, meaning they can be kept as long as desired. These tables are available in IntelliView definitions, so that the firm can create analytical reports about their Constant Contact email campaigns, for example: In the most recent campaign, how many opt outs were there, what were the contact names, what reason did they give, and who is the Primary for each these contacts?

* IntelliPad also integrates in a similar way with both Act-On and Emma.
After the campaign is sent from Constant Contact, the “Sent” number is updated and the caption becomes a clickable link to open the log of contact details. As responses are received in CC, they are automatically downloaded to IntelliPad, updating the “Bounces”, “OptOuts” etc. numbers and making those captions clickable links to open logs of contact details—as shown in the second image (truncated).

How does a CRM track results from a webmail service provider like Constant Contact® ?

The IntelliPad CRM offers optional integration with the Constant Contact, ActOn, and Emma webmail service providers. Contact information is uploaded from IntelliPad to the service provider’s website, where the email messages are created and the emails sent out. Although Constant Contact (and the others) maintain campaign feedback for only 90 days, an IntelliPad program downloads the feedback to IntelliPad tables, on a regularly scheduled basis, where it can be maintained indefinitely.

IntelliPad provides access to these feedback details for each campaign, showing the Sent, Open, Bounce, Opt-Out, and Forward statistics. Each response type has its own log of contacts. For emails Bounced due to invalid email address, the address can be changed in the contact record; Opt-Outs are automatically updated so that these contacts will not receive any emails in the future.

As the campaign feedback details are in IntelliPad tables, they are available in View definitions. Each firm can create analytical reports about their Constant Contact, or other provider, email campaigns. For example: In the most recent campaign, who were the Opt-Out contacts, what were their reasons, and who is the Primary Attorney for each of them?
